Braking Point co-conspirator pleads guilty to 22 charges

Lisa Pertee appeared in federal court today for a plea change for the charges she faces in connection to the Braking Point Recovery Center case.
Pertee, along with five others, is charged with alleged health care fraud conspiracy.
Earlier today, the defendant changed her plea to guilty for 22 counts of use of registration that belongs to another to obtain a controlled substance.
Pertee was the director of operations for Braking Point in Whitehall, Ohio.
She told the court she never changed the doctor's license, and she wants to do the right thing and move on with her life.
Pertee is now awaiting sentencing for her charges.
She could possibly face four years for each count, but due to her lack of a criminal record, she could be sentenced zero to six months or probation.
