YOUNGSTOWN - The CVS Pharmacy signage came down at the Park Avenue location on Monday.

CVS made the decision to close the store on Jan. 10. 

A spokesperson says they reviewed the store's financial performance before making the decision, and the closure was not a reflection of the hard work and dedication of employees.

They add CVS will make every effort to help place them into comparable roles at other nearby stores.

CVS also transferred all prescriptions to the CVS Pharmacy at 2846 Mahoning Avenue.

CVS says they remain committed to the Youngstown area.
