Pennsylvania coronavirus cases spike by more than 1,000
Less than one day after Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced a statewide "Stay-at-Home" order, coronavirus cases continue to rise.

HARRISBURG, Pa. - Less than one day after Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf announced a statewide "Stay-at-Home" order, coronavirus cases continue to rise.
Cases spiked by 1,211, bringing statewide positive cases to 7,016.
The department also reported 16 new deaths among positive cases, bringing the statewide total to 90.
There is one new case in Mercer County, which makes nine in total, with no deaths.
In Lawrence County, there are now 16 cases up from 13 and two deaths.
Thursday morning, UPMC researchers said they are working to make a breakthrough in a potential vaccine for coronavirus.
