Coroner identifies victims killed in shooting on Youngstown's east side

The two men have been identified as Joseph Digiacomo and Kevin Cartwright.

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - The Mahoning County Coroner's Office has identified the two men who were found dead in the 3500 block of Nelson Avenue on Youngstown's east side.

The two men have been identified as Joseph Digiacomo and Kevin Cartwright.

Both victims were 32.

A passerby discovered one of the bodies around 2 p.m. Thursday near the roadway on Nelson Avenue. The second body was found in a wooded area nearby.

Police told 21 News that both victims were shot.

No arrests have been made in connection to the case as Youngstown Police continue to investigate.
