COVID-19 still trending down in Ohio, one new local death reported

Coronavirus cases in Ohio remain on a declining trend as new cases and deaths reported are less compared to the last three days.
On Sunday, Ohio had 19,914 recorded cases of COVID-19 and 1,038 total deaths.
Overall cases rose by 579, and deaths rose by 17, that's down from Saturday.
Looking at the current downward trend the state has been experiencing, on Saturday there was an increase in cases by 592 and an increase of 19 deaths from Friday.
Locally, Mahoning County saw an increase of 54 cases from Saturday for a total of 937, and one new death reported bringing the total to 83.
Trumbull County reported just two new cases for a total of 331 and deaths still stand at 31.
Columbiana County reported 10 new coronavirus cases for a total of 278 and no new deaths, remaining at 26.
There are 22 cases and 11 deaths at long term care facilities in Columbiana County, as well as seven inmate deaths and 107 inmate and staff member COVID-19 cases at FCI Elkton.
