Two PA Walmart locations to begin COVID-19 testing

Beginning on Wednesday, June 17, Pennsylvania will add nine more drive-thru COVID-19 testing sites to the state, including two locally.
Walmart Supercenters located at 2501 W State Street in New Castle and at 1566 W Main Street Ext in Grove City will test up to 50 registered patients each scheduled day in the stores' parking lots. Beginning June 17 the two sites will be open on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.
Registration is required one day in advance. No COVID-19 testing will be held inside Walmart stores.
Those who register will be notified of a testing location within a 50-mile radius with available appointment times. Patients schedule an appointment time, print a voucher, and take it to their appointments. Patients will receive an email with their test results withing 24-48 hours. Physicians will call any patient who has a positive test.
