Troopers find 592 pounds of pot, THC products on Ohio interstate

MADISON COUNTY, Ohio - An SUV pulled over by State Troopers near Columbus for a traffic violation was filled with Home Depot boxes. It’s what was in those boxes that got the driver in trouble.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol says it pulled over a Chevy Tahoe for a lane change violation on Interstate 70 just west of Columbus a week ago.
After bringing in a drug-sniffing dog, troopers opened the hatch of the SUV and that’s where they say they found 592 pounds of THC infused products of marijuana worth approximately $2.5 million.
The driver, Frank Tatick, 28, Los Angeles, was booked into the Tri-County Jail and charged with possession of drugs, a second-degree felony.
If convicted, he could face up to eight years in prison and up to a $15,000 fine.
