A Youngstown-native received the question of a lifetime in a video that is now going viral.

Lena Parteleno is a Cardinal Mooney graduate and was proposed to on Father's Day weekend by her fiance Mario Micale.

Micale owns a media production company and organized a "flash mob" with more than 50 friends and family dancing as a way to pop the big question. The idea was six months in the making.

"It started with, I mean, contacting the choreographer, working out the dance details, trying to find a location, getting the father's blessing and then when COVID hit, it was like how can we pivot this idea and still stay safe but, still blow her away and I think we succeeded," said Micale.

The six-minute video was filmed in Kent and has been viewed more than 100-thousand times.

"He's big, not a big personality but he likes to do things big," said Parteleno.

"She deserved it," said Micale.

Parteleno is a nurse in Akron and has been working throughout the Coronavirus pandemic. She said some of her friends and family in the video she hadn't seen since Christmas.

"It's like these people learned this dance for the past six months, that just makes me so like, I'm just so full of joy that everyone cares enough about us to do this for us," said Parteleno.

Parteleno said "yes." The couple has not yet set a wedding date.
