DeWine announces launch of Ohio's Top Job List

COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio Governor Mike DeWine announced the launch of Ohio's Top Job List Monday.
The list combines Ohio's in-demand jobs and newly created critical jobs into one list.
According to the release, the update was made to prioritize current economic needs with the health of Ohioans through the Top Jobs list.
The critical jobs list hopes to ensure that the state has enough support in areas that impact the lives of Ohioans.
Critical Jobs were created in collaboration with the Governor's Children's Initiative, RecoveryOhio, and the Governor's Office of Workforce Transformation and include eight career clusters.
Those eight career clusters include Childen & Community Health, Early Childhood Education, First Responders, Lead Abatement, Mental & Behavioral Health, Nursing, Physicians, and Wellness Research & Technology.
"Ohio's Top Jobs are critical to the long-term health and well-being of our state, our communities, and our families. These are also positions that are available now. We're looking for Ohioans who want to serve their communities as early childhood educators, first responders, and health care providers," said Governor Mike DeWine.
DeWine also announced the new career pathways feature on TopJobs.Ohio.gov.
That feature shows the progress Ohioans can make within the critical job clusters.
Both the list and the career pathway feature are available at TopJobs.Ohio.gov.
