Earthquake recorded near Mercer County
According to the USGS earthquakes with magnitudes between 1 and 3 are not felt, except by very few people under especially favorable conditions.

LINESVILLE, Pa. - A minor earthquake has been recorded just north of Mercer County.
According to the U.S. Geological Service preliminary report issued on Wednesday, the 2.0 magnitude tremor occurred on Tuesday just before 5:30 a.m. less than three miles northeast of Linesville in Crawford County.
According to the USGS earthquakes with magnitudes between 1 and 3 are not felt, except by very few people under especially favorable conditions.
Youngstown experienced a 4.0 magnitude earthquake on New Year's Eve, 2011.
