The 13th annual buddy walk is happening.

The Down Syndrome Association of the valley will have their annual buddy walk this year but it comes with a twist.
DSAV's Buddy Walk/Drive-Thru for Down Syndrome will happen this Sunday, September 20 in the Eastwood Field parking lot from noon- 1:30 pm.
Registrants are invited to drive in the parade route from the safety of their own vehicles in support of their buddy.
With health being the main concern, all participants will remain in their vehicles and drive through the parade route which will feature Santa, different characters, superheroes, a drumline, mascots, and cheerleaders, among others.
Every year nearly 2,500 individuals unite to raise funds for the Down Syndrome Association of the Valley. The buddy walk is DSAV largest fundraiser which on average generates 75% of their operating expenses. . All donations remain local and directly benefit individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and our communities across the region.
Since 2007, DSAV continues to serve eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylavania by providing programming and services for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the professionals who serve them.
