Community comes together for family of woman lost in Knox Twp. crash

Family and friends mourn the loss of Jennifer Moreland as they try to think back on fond memories of her time here.
A family friend, Jenna Marteney said. "ME AND JEN'S BROTHER GERALD BCAME BEST FRIENDS IMMEDIATELY, 20 YEARS AGO AND THEN THE FAMILY QUICKLY BECAME MY FAMILY. SHE WAS THE MOST UNIQUE PERSON I HAD EVER MET, SHE WAS THE MOST FREE SPIRITED PERSON."
Shortly after hearing about the tragedy, Jenna decided to create a Go Fund Me for the family that has already raised more than $20,000.
"I FELT LIKE I NEEDED TO DO, SOMETHING. I JUST WANTED ANYTHING TO HELP, TO TAKE THE BURDEN OFF OF THEM DURING THIS TIME."
JENna HAS SPOKEN TO THE FAMILY WHO SAYS THEY WOULD RATHER NOT TALK TO ANYONE ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED.
AS FOR THE DRIVER, state police say CHARGES ARE EXPECTED.
The family has asked Jenna to be their spokesperson for the time being as communicating with the public right now is just too much for them.
"The family wants TO LET EVERYBODY KNOW HOW THANKFUL AND APPRECIATIVE THEY ARE FOR ALL OF THE DONATIONS, THE SHARES ON JUST THE POST AND THE REACHING OUT TO THEM, THE TEXTING, THE CALLS, THEY JUST, THEY NEED THEIR TIME."
