Police were on scene for a two-car crash on South Avenue around 5 a.m.
A taxi was hit from behind in the collision, causing it to hit a utility pole.
The taxi was heavily damaged from the impact.
The victim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are non-life threatening.
