BOARDMAN, Ohio - A new grocery store in Boardman is expected to open in May.

Company officials say the Meijer store located at the corner of Lockwood Boulevard and Route 224 has been under construction for some time but appears to be finishing up.

Meijer began hiring for the Boardman location earlier this year and expects to hire 300 people.
