RAVENNA TWP., Ohio - Troopers from the Ravenna Post of the State Highway Patrol are investigating a crash involving two passenger vehicles and a school bus.

Officers responded around 7 a.m. to Route 88, just North of Cooley Road in Ravenna Township.

A James A. Garfield School District Bus was stopped in the southbound lane waiting to make a left turn into a driveway.

A minivan was stopped behind the bus and was then rear-ended by another car pushing the stopped van into the school bus.

The van that was rear-ended then caught fire seriously injuring the occupants of the minivan.

The school bus was able to safely drive away from the fire.

Four school students on the bus sustained minor injuries that were treated and released to parents while at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation.
