Youngstown's Northside Pool expected to open Monday
Director of Parks and Recreation Dawn Turnage says they plan to welcome back swimmers to the pool on June 28.

YOUNGSTOWN - Youngstown's Northside Pool is expected to open on Monday after being closed last year due to the pandemic.
Director of Parks and Recreation Dawn Turnage says they plan to welcome back swimmers to the pool on June 28.
According to Turnage, they did have some trouble getting seasonal employees back to work, especially with a nationwide lifeguard shortage. She says they are still looking for employees, including three lifeguards.
The pool will be open Monday through Saturday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. The pool is also expected to be open on some Sundays. It costs $2 for kids to get in and $3 for adults.
Turnage says they're also planning to host a couple of movie nights as well as selling ice cream.
