WARREN, Ohio -  A Warren woman is facing child endangering and other charges after police arrested her for OVI outside a fast-food drive-thru window.

Jessica Appleberry, 28, is in the Trumbull County Jail awaiting arraignment on four counts of child endangering, operating a vehicle under the influence, and driving with a suspended license.

Police were called to the McDonald’s restaurant on South Street Monday night after an employee reported that Appleberry was stopped in the drive-thru lane for a half-hour, complaining about her order.

Also in the car were four children ranging in age from 4 to thirteen.

Police say Appleberry’s speech was slurred and continually nodded off.

According to the police report, Appleberry told an officer that she drank a wine Jello shot about three hours before and was also on medication.

After she could not complete a field sobriety test, Appleberry was taken to St. Joseph Hospital for a blood test, which police say she refused.

Because the officer determined that Appleberry was not in a condition to drive, she was taken to jail.

This isn't the first time Appleberry has been charged in connection with a similar incident.

Appleberry is still on probation for an incident back in May when police arrested her after finding her passed out in the Dunkin' Donuts Drive-thru on West Market Street with three children in the car.
