Tractor-trailer veers off I-80 in Hubbard, driver hospitalized

HUBBARD TWP., Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating after a tractor-trailer veered off Interstate 80 in Hubbard early Friday.
A passing motorist called 9-1-1 shortly before 5 a.m. to report that the FedEx truck went off the road, landing in some brush off the westbound lane of I-80 near the weigh station.
The driver was unresponsive and was taken to Mercy Hospital in Youngstown.
There is no word on the driver's condition or what led to the crash.
State troopers say the accident is not interfering with traffic, but is blocking the entrance to the weigh station.
