Mercer County, Pa. - The National Weather Service Pittsburgh Storm Survey team confirmed EF-1 damage occurred near Sandy Lake in Mercer County, Pennsylvania yesterday, September, 22. 

The tornado touched down around 6:20p.m., and winds peaked at about 100mph. 

The path of the tornado was about 0.25 miles and had a width of about 90 yards. 

There were zero injuries and zero deaths. 

It was the 23rd tornado to touch down in Mercer County since 1950, and the first tornado to hit since June, 2019.
