A small Ball Python was found in the yard of a Warren home on Monday.
The Animal Welfare League of Trumbull County posted a picture of the snake and said it's believed to be someone's pet.
Chief Executive Officer Lori Shandor said the snake is most likely an adolescent. The snake is currently less than two feet in length.
Shandor said the small python was found in a yard on Oak Knoll Avenue. She does not believe the snake has been out for long considering the cooler evening temperatures and said this type of snake is not meant for an Ohio weather environment.
Proof of ownership is required to reclaim the snake. Shandor said the welfare league to currently speaking with someone who is claiming ownership.
