Salvation Army takes part in 13-hour donation spree at Eastwood Mall
In total, the organization was able to raise $1,600 and $200 in online donations. They will get a full matched donation and give it right back to the community.

The Salvation Army took part in a 13-hour donation spree at the Eastwood Mall on Monday hoping to get a rush of donations.
The spree stems from a donor who offered to match up to $3,000 in collections from the event.
In total, the organization was able to raise $1,600 and $200 in online donations. They will get a full matched donation and give it right back to the community.
"It helps. It could be helping your neighbor right now. It helps anybody that it possibly can," said Christopher Williams, Captain of the Salvation Army of Trumbull County.
Currently, Trumbull's chapter of the Salvation Army has raised $60,000 total. In 2020, they raised a total of $76,000. Their goal is to reach $100,000 by the end of the season.
