YOUNGSTOWN - Some Valley drivers are heading into the weekend with a little less pain at the pump

After spiking to more than four dollars for a gallon of regular, gasoline prices at some locations in the Valley dropped as low as $3.89.

That was the price at pumps in Newton Falls and Niles early Friday, according to data collected by GasBuddy.com.

One gas station in Struthers was selling regular for $3.88.

GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan tweeted that he expects more price declines in the days ahead, adding that some stations have passed along the savings faster than others.
