Man allegedly threatened, robbed near Fremont Avenue in Warren

WARREN, Ohio - Warren Police were called to North end Park in Warren around midnight on Saturday in regards to a man in a bathrobe who was bleeding.
Upon arrival, the man told police that he was walking near the Circle K on Washington Street when a man pulled up in an SUV and asked him if he needed a ride.
The man told police that he got in the vehicle and was taken to North end Park where a woman came out and threatened him with a knife leading to both the male and the female suspects demanding the victim give them everything he had.
Police say the male suspect began hitting the victim and choking him while the female suspect yelled for the male suspect to throw a purse in the back seat of the vehicle.
The male suspect then allegedly forced the victim out of the vehicle while the female suspect allegedly jumped in the driver's seat and drove away while the male suspect allegedly ran north on Fremont Street.
The victim described the male suspect as a "white male with short, light brown hair," and the female suspect as a "short, heavier set light-skinned Black female with almost curly hair." The vehicle was described as a "dark blue or black SUV," and the police say the victim recalls that the inside of the vehicle appeared to have gray seats.
The victim told police all that was stolen was a Coach brand purse and approximately $17.
