A Weathersfield man will spend eight years in prison after secretly recording a child in his bathroom.
Roger Strawser Jr., 49, pleaded guilty to three counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material or performance.
According to the police complaint, Strawser placed what detectives describe as a "spy cam" in the bathroom of his home last summer and recorded a video of a child.
The redacted complaint did not disclose the age or gender of the victim but did say it was not his child.
Strawser was handed three concurrent eight-year sentences and will have to register as a tier two sex offender.
