COLUMBUS, Ohio - Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine has tested positive for COVID-19 days after her husband, Gov. Mike DeWine, tested positive for the virus, the governor's office said in a statement on Monday.

"First Lady Fran DeWine has now been diagnosed with COVID-19 by her personal physician. She is experiencing symptoms similar to the Governor's," the office said.

Gov. Mike DeWine continues to have mild symptoms which have not worsened since his diagnosis on Friday, a statement said. Mrs. DeWine reportedly had tested negative multiple times since the governor's diagnosis.

The first lady has undergone a monoclonal antibody treatment for her symptoms, according to the Governor's Office.
