Week #10 | Brookfield hosted Champion in the regular season finale Friday night. The Warriors started the scoring when QB Donovan Pawloski hit Isaiah Jones with a 57-yard touchdown pass. The long strike was just the beginning as Brookfield beat the Golden Flashes, 42-7, for its 9th straight win. Watch the clip here.
Week #9 | On Friday night at Hubbard, Niles was backed up deep in its own territory and forced to punt. The Eagles' Ben Wilcox fielded the kick on the Red Dragon 35. From there, he broke several tackles and raced into the end zone for a key score. That special team's touchdown helped Hubbard to a 37-20 NE8 win over Niles. Watch the clip here.
Week #8 | Cardinal Mooney used a little trickery on Friday night against Warren Harding! On a 4th and one from the Raiders' 30, Cardinals QB Ashton O'Brien was in the shotgun signaling for a play. Alec Delsignore then lined up behind center, took the snap, and broke free for the go-ahead score. The play helped Mooney to a 26-17 come-from-behind win over the Raiders. Watch the clip here.
Week #7 | It was an old-school defensive battle between Howland and East on Friday night at historic Rayen Stadium! With the game tied 0-0 in the 4th quarter, Howland's Jack Litton connected on a 25-yard field goal. That kick put the Tigers up for good and were the only points scored in a 3-0 win over the Golden Bears. Watch the clip here.
Week #6 | Jalen Wagner of Reynolds had a night for the record books on Friday! The Raiders running back set the Mercer County single-game rushing record with 394 yards. He also scored eight touchdowns, with 3 of his scores covering more than 60 yards. Reynolds beat Maplewood to improve to 4-1 on the season. Watch the clip here.
Week #5 | In a matchup of unbeaten teams on Friday night, Chaney hosted Canfield. The Cowboys trailed in the 4th quarter when Jaquan Johnson picked off a pass and returned it 24 yards for a touchdown. That gave Chaney a 16-13 win over the Cardinals to improve to 5-0. Watch the clip here.
Week #4 | Jackson-Milton was trailing rival Western Reserve, 21-15, on the road Friday night. Then, with 3-minutes left in the game, QB Alex Shiavi connected with Aiden Stanke for a 45-yard touchdown. The score propelled the Blue Jays to a 22-21 win over the Blue Devils and a 4-0 start to the season. Watch the clip here.
Week #3 | With 4-seconds left in the game, United trailed Crestview, 39-34. That's when Luke Courtney launched a Hail Mary pass to Brock Rhodes, who somehow caught the ball for the winning touchdown! The play capped an 18-point comeback as the Eagles topped the Rebels, 42-39. Watch the clip here.
Week #2 | Lowellville went into its bag of tricks versus Campbell Memorial on Friday night! QB Vinny Ballone tossed a screen pass to Anthony Lucente, who pitched the ball to Mark Dubos. Dubos took it 35 yards for the score on a perfectly executed "Hook and Lateral" play as the Rockets won big over the Red Devils. Watch the clip here.
Week #1 | Mineral Ridge got the season off to a running start in Pymatuning Valley! On the first offensive play, Ridge RB Ian Erb broke loose on an 80-yard touchdown dash. The Rams didn't stop there as they went on to a 41-7 win, fueled by Erb's run - our Avalon Downtown Pizzeria High School Football Play of the Week. Watch the clip here.
