BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - The phone number that was set up for Boardman residents to report damage from last weekend's storms is now facing a flood of its own.

Callers reached out our newsroom Thursday afternoon saying when they call the number, 330-716-0038, they get a message saying the voicemail box is full before disconnecting the call .

Boardman township administrator Jason Loree said he is aware of the problem, which he said is due to the sheer volume of calls they're receiving.

Loree said the hotline is set up on a cell phone and the voicemail box can't handle all of the messages coming in.

However, Loree said no one will be ignored and that because the line is a cell phone, the township is taking down every phone number from the phone's caller id.

Loree said anyone who has called will receive a call back even if they were unable to leave a message.
