Driver reports $10,800 cigarette theft at Niles drive-thru

NILES, Ohio - Police are trying to find three suspects after a delivery driver said they stole thousands of dollars worth of cigarettes meant for delivery to a Niles convenience store.
A driver for a Wheeling, WV-based convenience store distributor told police that two men jumped on his truck Thursday morning as he was making a delivery to the EZ Stop & Drive-thru on North Main Street.
The driver said the men grabbed cartons of cigarettes and ran into the woods behind the nearby Dollar Store.
After reviewing surveillance video, police believe a third man was involved, all of whom fled in a gray or silver Chevy Malibu.
Police searched the nearby area but found no trace of the suspects.
According to the police report, the estimated value of the stolen cigarettes is $10,800.
