Bomb squad called after foam projectile found along Route 11

VIENNA TWP., Ohio - For the second time in four days, the Youngstown Bomb Squad has been called to Route 11 in Vienna Township.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a foam projectile used for "crowd dispersement" was found along the highway near King Graves Road at around 9:30 a.m. Monday.
A trooper told 21 News that no ramps or roadways are closed, but could provide no further information.
It was early Friday that the Route 11 ramp from King Graves was shut down after prison inmates picking up litter from the highway discovered what appeared to be two hand grenades.
After the bomb squad and an expert from the Youngstown Air Reserve Station were called, it was determined that the grenades found on Friday were not genuine and posed no danger.
The ramp was open again around 12:30 p.m. Friday.
