LIBERTY, Ohio - Football fans in the Valley will have one less game to attend this week.

The game between Liberty and Crestview scheduled for Friday night is canceled.

Liberty Athletic Director Mackenzie Olesky said the cancelation is due to a number of players having COVID.

Olesky said the infections are considered a cluster under CDC guidelines and want to ensure the health and safety of all the players, coaches and communities involved.

Liberty's next game on the schedule is at home against Campbell on September 23.
