Ice rink at Southern Park Mall opens Tuesday
BOARDMAN TWP., Ohio - DeBartolo Commons at the Southern Park Mall becomes another local winter fun destination today.
The ice-skating rink just off Market Street is scheduled to open on Tuesday, November 15 at 4:00 p.m.
Sponsored by the Youngstown Clothing Company, the 35’ x 60’ ice rink will be open through January 15.
The cost to skate is $12 for adults, $10 for kids; guests can bring their own skates or rent for $4.
Season passes will be available until December 1 for $100. With a season pass, guests can enjoy season-long access to The Rink. Skate rentals are not included in season pass.
In addition to open skate, there will be special events at the rink throughout the holiday season.
Every Monday in December will be princess skate nights. From 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. with a purchase of a skate pass guests can skate with their favorite princesses and superheroes.
Every Wednesday in December from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. guests can enjoy free horse and carriage rides throughout The Commons.
