Students at Sebring McKinley Jr. High School participated in the school's annual food drive, which will provide 21 local families in need with food and care items this week.

The packages are loaded with pantry staples, Thanksgiving and holiday favorites and general hygiene items collected by Sebring McKinley students. Whichever team earned the most points would win a Chick-Fil-A party.

This year, the school's annual Trick-or-Treat for Turkeys campaign raised over $800, which helped provide turkeys and other key staples for the food drive.

This isn't Sebring McKinley's last food drive for the year, as starting next week, the school will be starting its annual food drive to provide for families in need for the Christmas season.
