Warrant issued for suspect accused of grabbing Howland hotel guest

HOWLAND TWP., Ohio - Police have charged an Ashtabula County man who is accused of grabbing the buttocks of woman who was the guest of a hotel in Howland.
One count of sexual imposition has been filed in Warren Municipal Court against 37-year-old Daniel Gulliams of Windsor, Ohio.
According to a police report, officers were called to a hotel on Route 46 last month after Gulliams allegedly used both hands to grab the buttocks of a 67-year-old Indianapolis woman.
Bystanders who were also in the lobby at the time pulled Gulliams away from the woman, according to the police report.
Police say the hotel’s security video clearly shows the incident.
The report does not name the hotel, but lists its address as 135 Highland Terrace Blvd SE.
A warrant has been issued for Gulliams’ arrest.
