Male victim in Youngstown bar shooting allegedly related to victim of 680 double homicide

YOUNGSTOWN - Detectives are are investigating an early morning shooting at a bar on Youngstown's South Side.
Police were called to Mercy Hospital at just after 3 a.m. Friday after a man and a woman showed up with gunshot wounds.
One victim was grazed by a bullet and the other was wounded in the arm.
The couple told officers that they were shot at the Steel City Bar at East Midlothian Boulevard and I-680.
According to a police report the female victim told officers that she was inside her vehicle when she heard gunshots. She told police she was grazed in her left arm and left leg.
When police interviewed the male victim he told them he was related to the male victim of a double homicide that occurred that same night on I-680. He told police he did not see or hear anything and the only reason he realized he was injured was because his elbow was burning.
According to the police report, both victims are in stable condition.
There's no word on whether police have any suspects.
