Cedar Point hosting 'Jobs Fun Fair' April 15, 16

Cedar Point will be hosting its first-ever "Jobs Fun Fair" hiring party and cookout events on Saturday, April 15 and Sunday, April 16.
Interviews, hiring and initial orientation will be held on the spot with park managers on hand to interview candidates and answer any questions they may have. This event won't be a traditional job fair. Instead, it would be a backyard barbecue-style event with free food, drinks games and much more.
Positions open include traffic and tolls, admissions, food and beverage services, park services, housekeeping and hotel accommodations, ride operations, office/clerical positions and much more.
All candidates who are will receive two free Cedar Point admission tickets they can redeem at their onboarding and will be entered into a raffle to win a free VIP tour package for up to four people.
These tickets are in addition to complementary tickets already part of employment benefits.
Hourly pay ranges between $14 to $17 per hour based on experience, prior service and position. Other benefits include discounts, reward and recognition programs, exclusive associate-only events, ride nights, free tickets for family and friends, free admission to other Cedar Fair parks and even on-site housing.
You must be 16 years old or over to apply for a job, but only those 18 years old or over who live at least 30 miles away from the park can apply for the housing. The housing is for seasonal employees only.
Cedar Point Public Relations Director, Tony Clark tells 21 News the housing is similar to a college dorm with RAs and security protecting the dorms around the clock.
There is a fee for the housing that is deducted from participating employees' paychecks.
