Flames spread through home outside New Wilmington
About a half hour after the initial call, investigators in charge of the fire scene asked PennDOT to shut down Route 208 in the area.

WILMINGTON TWP., Pa. - A house fire in Lawrence County kept crews from several fire departments busy early Monday.
Dispatchers were told that flames broke out at a home on the 4300 block of Route 208 in Wilmington Township shortly before 5:30 a.m.
Firefighters from other surrounding communities were dispatched to the property about 1 mile east of the borough.
Flames were through the roof of the home. Dispatchers were told that people who lived at the home escaped unharmed.
There's no word on what caused the blaze.
