A family of ducks has been reunited thanks to the Ohio State Highway Patrol and Howland Firefighters.

A State Trooper called Trumbull Dispatch to report that two ducklings were trapped in a storm drain along Niles Cortland Road, just north of Route 422 Wednesday evening.

Firefighters arrived and rescued the baby ducks, each one so tiny, they could fit inside someone's hand.

According to a post on the Howland Professional Firefighters Local 2786 Facebook page, the ducklings were safely returned to their family.
