Three area softball teams have punched their tickets to the State Final Four.

 

In Division I, Austintown Fitch rolled past Walsh Jesuit 11-1. The Falcons are heading back to State for the first time in 30 years.

Fitch pitcher Sydnie Watts struck out 11 in the win. 

The Falcons will face Lebanon in the State Semi-Final on Friday, June 2 - 12:30 pm at Firestone Stadium in Akron.

 

In Division II, Canfield came from behind to top Marlington 2-1 to claim their first regional championship since 2008.

Cardinals pitcher Malena Toth had 10 strikeouts in the win.

Canfield will play the winner of Steubenville/Chillicothe Unioto on Thursday, June 1 - 3:00 p.m. at Firestone Stadium in Akron.

 

In Division III, South Range took down Champion 8-4 in eight innings. 

Champion rallied back to tie the game at 4 in the bottom of the 6th.

The game went to extras tied at 4 and South Range plated four runs in the top of 8th to secure the regional title.

The Raiders will play Wheelersburg on Thursday, June 1 - 12:30 pm at Firestone Stadium in Akron.
