A man wanted in Pennsylvania has been arrested in Warren after trying to evade police, according to reports.

Michael Douglas, 40, has been charged with burglary, drug paraphernalia and resisting arrest. 

On June 18, police responded to a call from someone stating Douglas was trying to break into their apartment.

They were also informed by the caller that Douglas allegedly has several warrants out for his arrest in Pennsylvania.

On the way to the call, they spotted a man that matched Douglas' description and attempted to stop him.

Douglas tried to flee the scene, dropping a bag and coat. Officers stopped and tasered Douglas, who was taken to the hospital to be looked at.

A crack pipe was found among the items Douglas dropped while he fled.

According to a police report, Douglas has attempted to break into the caller's apartment several times in the past.

Once he was medically cleared, Douglas was transported to the Trumbull County Jail.
