Two people are injured after an overnight crash in Liberty.

The accident happening just before 3 o'clock on Route 62 at Applegate Road.

According to police, a car turning at a red light failed to yield and hit an oncoming pickup truck.

The crash knocked down a utility pole and flipped the truck onto its side.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The road had to be shut down briefly to repair the pole.
