Starting Friday, residents of East Palestine will be receiving another round of 'Bulldog Bucks' in their mailboxes.

The Bucks act like coupons that are accepted by a wide range of businesses in the area. Each one is worth $10.

This third round of Bulldog Bucks was funded by Norfolk Southern, the company whose train derailed in the community back in February.

The first round of Bucks was funded by a GoFundMe campaign set up by Lauren Boback of Monroeville, PA, and a second round funded by The Way Station and Annika Fore East Palestine. The initiative is intended to encourage residents to spend and shop locally.

All Bulldog Bucks will expire on September 30.
