OVI Checkpoint in Austintown Friday night

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force has announced it will be holding an OVI checkpoint in Austintown on Friday night into Saturday morning.

The Mahoning County OVI Task Force has announced it will be holding an OVI checkpoint in Austintown on Friday night into Saturday morning.

The checkpoint will take place from 10pm Friday night to 2am Saturday morning in the area of 483 N. Canfield Niles Road, near the Hollywood Gaming Casino on State Route 46.

The checkpoint will be accompanied by saturation patrols across the county over the weekend.

OVI Checkpoints are conducted through a joint effort by Ohio State Patrol and the Mahoning County OVI Task Force.
