YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - OH WOW! The Roger and Gloria Jones Children's Center for Science and Technology will be offering a special Ohio Tech Day Program on Friday, September 29 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m,

The public is invited to experience hands-on learning and innovation and activities that will allow students to gain firsthand experience with emerging technologies through coding challenges and robotics.

There will even be a robotics session where students can program Sphero bots and watch them spring to life following their code commands. The robots can be maneuvered around obstacles using basic programming.

Learners can get familiar with coding actions including speed, direction, turns colors and sound to direct the robots.

By the end of the session, students will have applied computational thinking skills to complete the bot racing challenge.
