Is the colder temperature making you want to crawl into bed and sleep? If so, it might be your lucky day, with everyone getting the option to sleep for one additional hour tonight.

While daylight saving time ends Sunday, Nov. 5 at 2 am, Valley residents will need to all the clocks back in their home and in the vehicles one hour before they go to bed tonight.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission also reminds everyone with the time change, it is a good time to replace all batteries in smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) detectors when you set your clocks back. And while many electronic devices like cell phones and computers will automatically change to the correct time, but smoke and CO detectors need a new power source to ensure they are working properly, and keeping you and your home safe.
