Thrive Mahoning Valley is hosting an looking to create a culture of inclusion and equity with its Community Conservations on Immigration program.

The free event will take place on Thursday between 6 pm to 8 pm and will conversations highlighting the realities of the immigrant experience in the Mahoning Valley.

The program with offer homemade Latin food including rice, beans, salad, roasted pork, and pastelillos, music, and panel discussion on immigration.

The panel discussion will include perspectives from three critical areas including Immigration Policy: The Legal Perspective; Immigrant Perspectives; and Advocacy and Activism: Community Initiatives.

The event will take place at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 1107 Elm St., in Youngstown
