PITTSBURGH - A Sharon woman has been sentenced to five years in federal prison for her part in what government investigators say was a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and other drugs.

Katlyn McGirr, 31, was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh for the crimes committed between June 2020 to June 2021.

According to information presented to the court, McGirr admitted responsibility for distributing 150 grams of powder cocaine, 30 grams of crack cocaine, 20 grams of fentanyl, 20 grams of heroin, and 10 grams of methamphetamine.

McGirr and 24 others were indicted in 2021 for drug trafficking in Western Pennsylvania
