Two people are facing time behind bars after being caught in separate prostitution stings in Columbiana County.

First, John Boyd, 56, of Cambridge was caught in East Palestine trying to buy sex from an undercover agent through a know prostitution website, according to an affidavit filed in the Columbiana City Municipal Court.

He's been charged with one count of first degree misdemeanor of engaging in prostitution and one count of possessing criminal tools.

He has plead not guilty in court yesterday.

In Salem, Frank Goch, 52 of Barberton, was caught trying to purchase sex from an undercover agent via a cellphone, according to an affidavit filed in the Columbiana City Municipal Court.

 

 

He was charged with engaging in prostitution and possessing criminal tools.

His court date is set for January 25 at 8:30 a.m. for a video arraignment.
