A trial date of August 6 has been scheduled for a Canfield man accused of raping two women in Kent back in November of 2022.
RAVENNA, Ohio - A trial date of August 6 has been scheduled for a Canfield man accused of raping two women in Kent back in November of 2022.
The date was set during Wednesday's hearing in Portage County Common Pleas Court for 22-year-old Mccoy Watkins who rejected a plea offer from prosecutors.
Watkins is charged with two counts of rape and one count of burglary, stemming from an incident from November of 2022 when he allegedly raped two women aged 18 and 19 years old.
Additionally, Watkins is accused of trespassing on a property on North Lincoln Street in Kent on the same day as the alleged rape incidents.
