A Lawrence County man may have learned an expensive lesson about making sure that he locks his pickup truck.
The Pennsylvania State Police New Castle Crime Unit is investigating a report from a 53-year-old Wayne Township man that someone opened the unlocked door of his Chevy Silverado last week parked on Henry Street and stole nearly $1,000 worth of valuables.
The most expensive stolen item was a $750 Sig Sauer pistol and loaded magazine.
The thief also stole two knives, an Oakley sunglasses case, and a $110 flashlight.
