The Youngstown State softball Penguins are the Horizon League regular season champions.

They did it with an 8-4 win over IUPUI in the first game of a doubleheader.

The Penguins are 34-15 overall and 18-4 in the conference and secure the number one seed in next weeks Horizon League tournament that they'll host.

Youngstown State last won the conference in 2021.
